Daisho Con

This year at Daisho Con we will be hosting a Cosplay Swimsuit Contest!

People can dress up in a swimsuit cosplay and compete right in our heated swim area. Make a funny skit or just strut around! Treat it like a regular cosplay contest... just in swim-wear! It will be held on Saturday around 2:00 P.M in the area by the swimming pool. Come out and compete or watch the competition!

P.S. All cosplays will be pre-judged and must obey indecent exposure laws .. pre-judging will be held in the pre-judging room on Saturday morning.

It's hard for me to find swimwear that fits me correctly, so I'll pass on this...

I'm tempted to do a cosplay for this too...Probably would have to shave, though. No anime characters are as furry as I am in the legs, that I can think of. At least not human ones.

Well... there are other parts of the costume that are actually kind of more pressing than making an entire suit. As it stands right now, I'm going to use one I already have with some modifications.

This is definitely a first, especially given what time of the year Daisho is being held.

is there any concern about minors

Its the same as any cosplay contest.. any character you want as long as it is based on a fictional character. And no there is no rules against minors. We cant have any since the area that its being held in is public space.

This sounds pretty cool. I might participate if I'm not being too lazy to make the swimsuit I need for the character I have in mind.
